Very excellent food for a reasonable price, I ordered combo D and everything tasted amazing. The lady at the register is also very kind and even covered my bill when I was a few bucks short. Highly recommended especially for tourists.

Absolute must try! Combo portions are huge, consider having one for two. We took combo Katsu and BBQ Chicken, it came with two scoops of rice, mac&cheese & cabbage salat

INCREDIBLE FOOD! The mochika chicken was the best thing we ate all trip. The portions were so generous and everything was hot/fresh. The shrimp and loco moco was also delicious. Don’t let the aesthetic or lack thereof scare you away. Everything was great.

Little hole in the wall by the beach. We shared a combo chicken katsu and BBQ chicken plate. It came with rice and macaroni salad. Everything was delicious!!! Service was nice. Sat outside. Inside small area. Would definitely check this place out.

It's a tiny mom and pop shop that didn't disappoint. If you are are finicky, I would avoid. However if you enjoy a little less fancy and delicious food, I suggest trying it out

During my trip to Hawaii, I visited this spot a few times and was thoroughly impressed. The food was flavorful, and satisfying. The beef curry stood out with its rich, well-balanced flavor, and the beef was tender. The shortrib was also delicious, though a touch on the sweeter side. Picking up my order was seamless, making it an easy option for a tasty meal. I would definitely return on my next visit to enjoy more of their dishes!

Update 2: we took our daughter and granddaughter here for mochiko chicken and garlic shrimps, and they also loved them. Today, I tried its garlic chicken and it was good also. Update: it was so good that I returned a week later. Today I got the mochiko chicken again plus the garlic shrimps. It was excellent as the last time I was there. Of course, the best macaroni salad. The quintessential of a hole in the wall eatery, but what great dishes it serves here. You can create your own 2-entry combos and I had the mochiko chicken (fried chicken using sweet rice batter) and grilled pork chop. Both entries were so good. Both were very tender and full of flavors. Mochiko fried chicken is very different than karaage chicken that is more widely served in Japanese restaurants. Mochiko chicken is even more tender than karaage and tasted a bit sweet (from mochi rice). A must try if you are in the area. The combo came with rice and macaroni salad. One prior reviewer noted that this place has the best Mac salad on the island. I can’t vouch that, but it was extremely good. The service was very friendly and quick You can sit either inside with AC or outside with a nice breeze. Highly recommend if you don’t mind seeing empty boxes stacked all over the sitting area.
